For nearly a decade, St. Mark’s and Chattahoochee Valley Episcopal Ministries have hosted a week long program called TAP (Thompson-Pound Art Program) in Troup County. This is a multi-cultural, interfaith, arts based program for rising first graders through rising sixth graders. TAP involves 45-60 children, 15-20 teen mentors, and 12-20 adult volunteers from throughout the community.

Troup TAP 2015 will be held at the Boys and Girls Club of West Georgia in the old Cannon Street Elementary. The dates are July 20 24 from 8:30 am – 12:00 pm. The theme for this year’s TAP program is “Shine On: Be the One to Stand Out.”

TAP is an intercultural, interfaith arts based program for children who are 6-12 years old. Admission is free, but registration is required. Application forms are available in the Cloister Room or at the Boys and Girls Club. Any teens 13 years or older are invited to apply to serve as teen mentors for TAP.
