St. Mark’s seeks to create space for fellowship and service beyond our walls by opening our doors to a number of partner organizations.

The Choral Society of West Georgia

Rehearses in St. Mark’s parish hall most Thursday evenings

The Center for Mindful Exploration

Meeting in St. Mark’s parish hall, and around the grounds, the Center offers community meditation every month, along with periodic meditation classes and retreats.

Jenny Jack Sun Farm

A farm in Pine Mountain, Georgia, St. Mark’s is the location for their CSA pick up. CSA stand for Community Supported Agriculture – members pay a fee for which they receive fresh produce from a farmer they know and can talk to, often including heritage varietals and the opportunity to get fresh eggs and other items.

Girl Scouts

Troop 12207 meets regularly on the St. Mark’s playground, St. Margaret’s Room, and occasionally in the parish hall for events and meetings designed to encourage leadership and responsibility in girls Kindergarten through 12th grade.

Azalea Storytelling Festival

Each year the Azalea brings world renowned storytellers to LaGrange, and St. Mark’s hosts the preview dinner the night before the festival, offering hospitality for tellers and sponsors of the festival.

Hope for a Day

This major event raises money to fight Breast Cancer. St. Mark’s provides space in our parish hall for the lunch at the end of the walk.

Sierra Club

Meeting on the 3rd Tuesday of the month, Sierra Club provides education and promotes action for the preservation of the environment.
